Aww, thats very kind of you Dean! I will save my pennies and see how soon they'll be enough to buy the kit. It might be a while, but really love that style of house :)

We been kicking around the idea of doing just that Caroline. I mentioned this in an interview I did this week for Gina's dollhouse blog. I would like to come out with assorted trims and then package them for each kit so they are already cut to size as well as offering them in cut lengths. Right now though, the focus is still on getting the Emerson Row and Chantilly Dollhouses finished.

We should have the columns in by late September/early October. We added a new feature to help position them under the pedimont, so they can actually be added after the dollhouse is assembled. In a pinch, we can always drop ship you the columns. I know freight is an issue for you Muriel, so I would pick up the additional expense. I didn't mention it, but this is a big house! It's a different kind of big then the Garfield though... it almost 48" long!

Absolutely amazing!! Beautiful, thoughtful work, Dean! Have you all thought about releasing trim, railings, and molding details that people can add to their existing houses? I'm sure there would be a great response!

So if there are only 12 kits available this release, when are we likely to see another lot? Gotta save my pennies for a while first :p

The laser cut windows are fabulous! Such nice details. I thought I would pass on some info I learned from someone who sells lots of laser cut furniture-- If you paint the "burnt" edges (term for laser cut- not rude comment) with Ceramcoat matte varnish before you paint- it will paint very easily.
I need to eliminate a few more of my unfinished/stored under the bed projects first- but know I have a Beaumont kit in my future!

Ooohh la la...I LOVE the changes to the lighthouse Dean!! I have always been a BIG fan of lighthouses. Can't wait for this beauty to be released. Also love the fact you now are using laser cutting - that will make short work of prep times for builders , not to mention the awesome details that can be achieved. Thank you, thank you Greenleaf & Co. You are the very BEST!

I love the bus. I could just see it stopped at a bus stop with the little kids waiting to get on to go to school!

Question, does anyone make a garage to go with their dollhouses? I'm so surprised that I have not been able to find a kit for this. It's such a basic part of a home, and can be a lot of fun to "furnish".

I wanted to watch this segment, but it was hard to determine which title on the Martha Stewart Show website (MarthaStewart.com)was about miniatures. Turns out they titled the segment "Cookie Ornament" because it is a miniature in poly clay of Christmas cookies on a plate that Tracy Niederer demonstrates with Martha. There is a nice shot of the dollhouse at the end of the segment. Need to go try to make a clay turkey now...
