I wanted to watch this segment, but it was hard to determine which title on the Martha Stewart Show website (MarthaStewart.com)was about miniatures. Turns out they titled the segment “Cookie Ornament” because it is a miniature in poly clay of Christmas cookies on a plate that Tracy Niederer demonstrates with Martha. There is a nice shot of the dollhouse at the end of the segment. Need to go try to make a clay turkey now…

This looks great! I really like the scale (height) next to the Vineyard Cottage. I am with the other ladies–it would be great to see the back and know some of the dimensions (width)–though it appears to be sizeable compared with the width of the Vineyard–which is great when it comes to the decorating options.

OMG, Dean, this is totally awesome! You have a real winner here, IMO! How will it look from the other side? How many floors, will a spiral staircase be included, and how will y’all simulate the lenticular glass for the light at the top? I am totally blown away!

If all those houses are coming out, I will need another apartment and / or a warehouse like some said. I have mostly Greenleaf houses and I LOVE THEM. They are great. I have completed uploading all the entries to the Officail 2008 Spring Fling Gallery. They are listed alphabetically by forum user name or first name/last initial for people who are not registered at the forum.

There was a whopping total of 82 entries this year… I enjoyed looking at every one them! There is a large range of talent on display; some that are absolutely stunning and other that have a clever message. If you look close enough, you will find something enjoyable in every entry. Unfortunately, in the end, there can be only one winner that gets to name this great little miniature project. I look forward to posting who that is this Friday.

I would encourage everyone to review there entry. If you have additional pictures on display in the gallery or off site, it would be nice if you add a comment to your pictures with a link to these pictures. This won’t impact the judging, but I’m sure that many of us would like to see your additional pictures.

Thanks again to everyone who participated!

Amazing how so many people come up with such different ideas from the same starting point - mine will be different again from any of these!

Thanks for the preview. It is nice to see all that talent expressed in such wonderful and deverse ways. Do they have miniturest conventions? If not there needs to be one so all that talent could get together.
